On the mobile side there's not much for DMR. Often times I notice before they mention what radio.
I might be crazy but it seems like when I hear someone on a Moto radio they sound better. Right now have a 868 and for the most part it works but there are times it just locks up or has glitches. We finally got a DMR repeater here but I also have a hotspot I've been using. I was thinking about one for my vehicle or home basestation. Would it be better off to just take it to a dealer and have them program it how you want? Thought I saw someone place a web subscription.Īlso know with Moto you have to buy the wide band license too, talk about rip off but back to the topic. How much would the software cost or do you have to be a dealer? I know you have to buy the cable, looks like $30 or so for one on eBay.
